Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager offers a 24-month work-integrated learning programme for newly qualified carpenters. It gives trade-tested artisans with little experience hands-on work, mentoring and industry exposure. Posts are in Cape Town, Durban, Richards Bay, Saldanha, East London and Gqeberha.

✅ Key duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Document work performed and report to supervisors

🎓 Requirements

• Carpentry Trade Test Certificate
• Trade tested within the past 4 years
• Youth aged 18–35
• Less than 1 year of experience
