📝 About the role
Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in Mobeni, Durban is hiring four Staff Nurses for various nursing components. Grade 1 needs no experience after SANC registration. DPSA Circular 36 of 2026, post 36/203.
✅ Key duties
- Provide basic nursing care within scope of practice
- Assist Professional Nurses with patient care and procedures
- Maintain patient hygiene, comfort, dignity and safety
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions
- Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges; keep accurate records
- Work shifts incl. nights, weekends and public holidays
🎓 Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- Current registration with SANC (2026) as a Staff Nurse
- Experience Grade 1: None (Grade 2: 10 years; Grade 3: 20 years)
- Basic computer literacy
