📝 About the role

Three permanent staff nurse posts at Karl Bremer Hospital in Bellville, in theatre and the general wards. Newly registered staff nurses can apply at Grade 1.

✅ Key duties

• Development and implementation of basic patient care plans
• Provide basic clinical nursing care
• Effective utilization of physical and financial resources
• Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development

🎓 Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
• Inherent requirements: Willing to rotate in other wards when required. Willingness to work night duty, weekends, public holidays and overtime.
• Competencies: Knowledge of Nursing care processes. Ability to function in a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
