📝 About the role

Clicks is hiring a permanent Shop Assistant / Cashier for Clicks Woodland Hills in Bloemfontein. The role handles point-of-sale transactions and cash, promotes the ClubCard and promotions, and keeps merchandising and housekeeping to store standards.

✅ Key duties

• Carry out point-of-sale activities accurately and on time
• Scan merchandise and collect payment accurately, including ClubCard rewards
• Handle cash safely at all times
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard and sign up new members
• Make customers aware of promotions
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service as a brand ambassador
• Do merchandising and general housekeeping to store and visual standards
• Keep up to date on products, ranges, promotions and events

🎓 Requirements

• Grade 12 (essential)
• Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level (desirable)
• Customer-facing experience in a retail/FMCG store environment (desirable)
• Basic maths and numeracy skills
• Understanding of merchandising, promotions and stock management
• Good communication, planning and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy
