📝 About the role
Maluti TVET College is hiring a Senior Practitioner: Human Resource Development at its Corporate Office in Bethlehem on a 3-year council-paid contract. The role supervises training, the Workplace Skills Plan, bursaries, internships/learnerships and performance management (PMDS/IQMS). Post 35/89 in DPSA Circular 35.
✅ Key duties
- Supervise development and implementation of the training and development plan
- Ensure the Workplace Skills Plan is developed, approved, submitted to ETDP SETA and implemented
- Oversee awarding of bursaries in line with policy
- Oversee internship and learnership programmes
- Monitor PMDS and IQMS and train college officials on them
- Guide development of job descriptions and ensure all officials have signed ones
- Ensure the Employment Equity Plan and HR Plan are developed, reviewed and implemented
- Supervise human, physical and financial resources
🎓 Requirements
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or NCV Level 4
- National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related
- At least 3 years' relevant experience
- At least 2 years' supervisory experience
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- PERSAL introduction certificate
- Knowledge of HRD processes, Skills Development Levies Act, Employment Equity Act, PSA, PFMA, PSR, PMDS and IQMS
- Unendorsed valid driver's licence
