Pump Attendant

📝 About the role

Valterra Platinum has two Pump Attendant posts in Mokopane, Limpopo (B1 level, reporting to the Engineering Foreman / Pump Team Supervisor). Attendants keep pump operations, dam levels and pipelines running and report on pump condition and risks.

✅ Key duties

• Maintain continuity of pump operations, dam levels and pipelines
• Operate pumps and report on their condition
• Provide pumping operations support and complete tasks to quality standards
• Ensure spares, tools and materials are available
• Identify and report unexpected problems and process risks
• Keep high housekeeping standards and follow procedures
• Clean haulage drains of foreign material

🎓 Requirements

• Matric
• Trained in pump operations
• 3 years' related experience is advantageous
