Provisioning Administrative Officer: Demand & Acquisition

📝 About the role

A Level 7 supply chain post at the Mopani District Office in Giyani. You will manage the supplier database, run needs analyses and report on procurement progress and risks.

✅ Key duties

• Provide regular status/progress reports to management highlighting trends, problems, risks, deviations, delays and make appropriate recommendations for improvement
• Determine possible future need for service by conducting a gap analysis
• Manage and maintain the database of all suppliers
• Ensure quality reporting on sourcing of goods and services
• Consolidate procurement plan based on inputs from various units
• Capacity building to all users on new procedures or systems implemented for the purpose of needs and market analysis
• Assist with the development of acquisition plan or strategy

🎓 Requirements

• Grade 12 plus an appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Financial Management / SCM / Procurement Management / Logistics or equivalent qualification in the relevant field or area as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Sup
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exception of persons with disabilities)
• Knowledge And Skills: Knowledge of the Supply Chain Management framework, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Treasury Regulation, Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (B-BBEE)
