Mediclinic Upington is hiring a permanent, on-site Professional Nurse. Working in a multi-professional team, the nurse delivers safe, quality nursing care within their scope of practice and leads and coordinates nursing teams.

✅ Key duties

• Deliver quality nursing care with a multi-professional team
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to patient safety
• Create a positive client experience
• Keep accurate records of all nursing interventions
• Build staff competence through a learning environment
• Ensure stock and equipment used are accurately charted

🎓 Requirements

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse, or 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
• No minimum experience required
• Basic life support trained (ACLS/ATLS/PALS for specialised wards)
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Knowledge of nursing care plans, infection control, pharmacology and nursing legislation
• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery or specialist nursing diploma desirable
