📝 About the role
Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital needs two Pharmacist Assistants (Post Basic) in Pharmacy Services. Grade 1 needs no experience after SAPC registration. DPSA Circular 36 of 2026, post 36/201.
✅ Key duties
- Dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision per SOPs
- Receive, store, issue and control pharmaceutical stock
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, rotation and counts
- Pack and distribute medicines to wards, clinics and departments
- Keep accurate pharmaceutical records
🎓 Requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or equivalent
- Registration with the SAPC as Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic) – current
- Experience Grade 1: None (Grade 2: 5 years; Grade 3: 13 years)
- Computer literacy; knowledge of Pharmacy Act and Good Pharmacy Practice
