📝 About the role
A permanent nursing assistant post at the Seshego Treatment Centre near Polokwane. The role provides basic nursing care, keeps records and helps transfer patients.
✅ Key duties
- Provide quality basic nursing care
- Provide elementary clinical nursing care
- Practice nursing in accordance with laws and regulations relevant to nursing
- Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self- development
- Utilise human, material and physical resources efficiently and effectively
- Report writing and updating client register
- Filling of records
- Transferring patients to other health facilities
🎓 Requirements
- Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Nursing Assistant or Auxiliary nurse
- Current registration with the South African Council Nursing Council as enrolled nursing assistant
- Provide quality basic nursing care
- Provide elementary clinical nursing care
- Practice nursing in accordance with laws and regulations relevant to nursing
- Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self- development
