📝 About the role

Eight permanent nursing assistant posts in the Lejweleputswa District (Welkom area). Nursing assistants give basic nursing care under a professional nurse, and contract staff are encouraged to apply.

✅ Key duties

• Development and implementation of basic patient care plans
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of Professional Nurse
• Effective utilization of clinical care resources
• Maintain professional Growth/Ethical standards and self Development
• Assess patient needs and assist with appropriate care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment
• Administer treatment and medical as authorized

🎓 Requirements

• Basic qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant
• Experience: Grade 1: Non after registration with SANC. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant
• Current registration with SANC and proof of registration 2025/2026. Current / proof of registration with SANC for 2026 as a Nursing Assistant . Applicants are requested to provide service records endorsed by Human Resources from their previous and current employers
