📝 About the role
Fidelity Services Group is hiring a permanent Intelligence Officer (mining investigator) at a mining site in Emalahleni (Witbank). The officer independently conducts investigations, gathers evidence and testifies in hearings.
✅ Key duties
- Gather evidence legally
- Testify in criminal and disciplinary hearings
- Liaise with SAPS, prosecutors, legal representatives, staff and clients
- Keep evidence records and case docket administration
- Write accurate, evidence-based investigation reports
- Recruit and handle informers
- Complete investigations within deadlines
- Work overtime when necessary
🎓 Requirements
- NQF 6 or 7 degree in Intelligence Studies, Policing or other law enforcement (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years in Crime Intelligence, SANDF intelligence or State Security Agency
- PSIRA Grade A
- Firearm competency for business purposes
- Own reliable transport and valid driver's licence
- Proficient in MS Office and internet
- No criminal record or pending cases
- Good command of English
- Mining investigations experience advantageous
