Woolworths is hiring a full-time Customer Assistant: Foods Cashier at Walmer Park, Gqeberha. The cashier greets customers, processes till transactions accurately, promotes loyalty programmes and services, and helps keep store standards and reduce shrinkage. ✅ Key duties

• Greet customers warmly at the till
• Process all till transactions and payment methods accurately
• Promote Woolworths loyalty programmes and services like utility bill payments and airtime
• Keep the till area clean, safe and organised
• Check scanned prices against shelf tickets and resolve discrepancies
• Follow loss-prevention procedures and report irregularities
• Use product knowledge to help customers and support promotions
• Attend team meetings and follow attendance, dress code and hygiene policies

🎓 Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification
• Basic selling skills
• Strong customer service and communication
• Accurate till and payment handling
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
• Honest and reliable
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
