- Perform general activities in respect of crop production: Irrigation of crops
- Soil cultivation and preparation (cleaning and hoeing)
- Perform general activities in respect of livestock: Care for sick livestock, Dipping, vaccination and dosing
- Perform general activities: Cleaning of facilities; disposal of farm waste material
- Perform general activities in respect of infrastructure: Maintain and build roads, fences, pipelines, canals, dams, drinking troughs, animal housing and buildings
- Maintain windmills and water supply system
🎓 Requirements
- Abet level 2 certificate or equivalent
- Competencies: Knowledge and understanding of the following: Farm infrastructure construction and maintenance
- General maintenance of infrastructure
- General Farmwork
- Working with farm animals and pastures
- Skills in the following: Communication (verbal)
- Numeracy
- Literacy
- Driving
- Operating equipment
