📝 About the role
Tshwane North TVET College is appointing a fixed-term Plumbing facilitator at Soshanguve North Campus from 1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027. The facilitator delivers the Occupational Certificate: Plumber programme, theory and practical.
✅ Key duties
- Facilitate the OC: Plumber programme per the approved curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, learning material, practicals and assessment instruments
- Conduct theory and practical training and monitor students at the workplace; enforce OHS and PPE
- Assess students and capture marks electronically
- Manage attendance, distribute learner materials, invigilate exams
- Use the Learning Management System
🎓 Requirements
- Matric certificate/NCV L4 plus an appropriate M+3 qualification (National Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Building Construction)
- Plumbing Trade Test
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Advantage: 1 year facilitating experience in plumbing; assessor/moderator and teaching qualifications
- Knowledge of sector legislation
