📝 About the role
Three-year school-based ECATL post in Lejweleputswa District (Vacancy PS 18 of 2026), supporting two schools with life-skills prevention programmes, peer education and psychosocial support for learners. Aimed at unemployed youth with Grade 12.
✅ Key duties
- Support two allocated schools Monday to Friday
- Establish active Peer Education clubs
- Implement prevention programmes and support the School Based Support Team
- Run after-school homework/study-skills sessions and support vulnerable learners
- Help learners and parents access services (birth certificates, IDs, health services)
🎓 Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Fluent in English, Sesotho and/or Afrikaans
- Minimum 1 year experience training/working with youth or Peer Education programmes
- Trained as a Child and Youth Care Worker/Auxiliary Social Worker
- Trained in Life Skills/Peer Education programmes
- SA citizens only
