📝 About the role
A driver/messenger post in the Nelson Mandela Bay region office in Gqeberha. You will drive staff, transport goods and equipment, keep trip sheets and do basic vehicle checks. A licence with PDP is required.
✅ Key duties
- Render transport and driving services
- Fairy employees to various destinations
- Transport material and equipment
- Apply road safety and precautionary measures
- Complete logbooks and trip sheets
- Conduct basic vehicle checks and report faults
- Provide transport administrative services
🎓 Requirements
- NQF level 2 as recognised by SAQA with no experience
- Valid drivers’ licence with PDP. Knowledge of Road traffic laws and regulations, government transport policies and procedures, geographical knowledge, vehicle maintenance and safety, document handling and records management
- Good communication skills
- Confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Physical fitness and alertness, customer service and time management
