📝 About the role

Shoprite Checkers is recruiting a Debtors Clerk in Cape Town, Brackenfell, Western Cape. The Debtors Clerk provides administrative and operational support within the finance function, focusing on the accurate processing and maintenance of debtor accounts. Key requirement: Grade 12 / Matric - essential. Applications close 2026-10-21.

✅ Key duties

• Process and capture invoices accurately within required timelines
• Verify supporting documentation and ensure completeness
• File and maintain invoice records in line with audit requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor account records
• Capture and update new and existing account information

🎓 Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric - essential
• Relevant certificate or diploma in Finance / Accounting - (preferred)
• +1 years’ experience in a debtors, finance administration, or accounts-related role - (essential)
• Basic understanding of financial processes and debtor management - (essential)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on applicable tools to execute areas of function (essential)
