📝 About the role
Mpumalanga Department of Health is hiring a Candidate Engineer on a five-year contract at its Provincial Office in Mbombela. The role supports infrastructure programme and project planning, implementation, commissioning and evaluation.

- Infrastructure programme and project planning in line with IDMS
- Infrastructure programme and project implementation and monitoring
- Infrastructure project commissioning
- Infrastructure programme and project evaluation
- Research to keep up with new technologies and geographic information management options
🎓 Requirements
- Grade 12 plus an NQF 7 engineering qualification recognised by SAQA
- Current registration as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA (2026)
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of CIDB Act, PFMA, DORA, Treasury Regulations and construction procurement
- Knowledge of built-environment profession acts, OHS Act, NEMA, building standards and construction contracts
