📝 About the role
Five 24-month EPWP by-law patroller contracts at Midvaal Local Municipality. Patrollers inspect informal trading sites, check that traders follow the rules and write reports.
✅ Key duties
- Liaising with traders by ensuring that traders know about issues and aspect that impact and influence their business
- Conduct routine inspection
- Monitoring Policy compliance to the condition of trading and ensure order prevails
- Prepare reports on inspection conducted
- Identify new trading sites
- Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time
🎓 Requirements
- Grade10
- Security related training & Certificate will be an added advantage (Grade E, D, C)
- Peace officer training & certificate will be an added advantage
- Valid Driver’s License will be an added advantage
- Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
- Knowledge & experience of by-law enforcement will be an added advantage
- No experience required
- Incumbent will be provided with training
