📝 About the role
Mr Price Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Power Fashion in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. The assistant manager relieves the store manager and helps maintain standards for housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage, discipline and security.
✅ Key duties
- Bank money and oversee the cash office
- Relieve the store manager when absent
- Maintain standards of housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline and security
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and front-end controls
- Assist with staff management
- Minimise stock loss
- Introduce sales initiatives to reach store targets
🎓 Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 (Maths an advantage) or NQF Level 4
- Experience managing people
- Experience managing a department
- Clothing retail experience highly advantageous
- Strong communication and admin skills
- Planning, organisation, leadership and decision-making
- Honest, ethical, proactive and self-motivated
