📝 About the role
St Chads Community Health Centre in Ezakheni needs a qualified Plumber to install, repair and maintain plumbing at the CHC and its clinics. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply. DPSA Circular 36 of 2026, post 36/202.
✅ Key duties
- Install, repair and maintain geysers, toilets, urinals, showers and baths
- Repair water and sewerage reticulation; clear blocked drains and gutters
- Take daily water supply readings; maintain fire hose systems
- Complete job cards/time sheets and reports
- Visit clinics for maintenance; standby and after-hours call-outs
🎓 Requirements
- Standard 10 / Grade 12 certificate
- Appropriate Trade Test Certificate (Manpower Act s13(2)(h))
- Valid driver's licence
- 0–2 years' experience as a Plumber
- Knowledge of OHS and safety standards
