📝 About the role
The ZF Mgcawu District Office of Northern Cape Health needs a qualified Artisan (building, mechanical, electrical, industrial and other trades). The artisan inspects, repairs, tests and services equipment and facilities. DPSA Circular 36 of 2026, post 36/299.
✅ Key duties
- Inspect equipment/facilities for technical faults
- Repair, test and service equipment and facilities to specification and schedule
- Quality-assure maintained equipment
- Compile reports and keep job records
- Supervise and mentor staff
🎓 Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- Prescribed trade qualification and successful completion of a recognised trade test (building, mechanical, printing, electrical, industrial or textile environment)
- Technical report writing and computer skills
