Adviser AIFA: Everyday Banking (FAIS)

📝 About the role

Absa needs an Adviser for Absa Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) in Everyday Banking, based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. You advise branch clients on risk and investment products using Absa's needs-analysis tools and build your own book of business.

✅ Key duties

• Follow the six steps of financial planning as a FAIS-licensed adviser
• Run financial needs analyses and recommend suitable risk and investment products
• Work leads from Everyday Banking branches and own prospecting
• Complete compliance documents (advice record, FICA) and submit applications
• Review client portfolios at least once a year
• Manage own commission statements and follow up on lapses
• Stay fit and proper and complete required compliance training

🎓 Requirements

• Must hold or maintain FAIS fit-and-proper status
